Saddled up and ready to go, Hilliard spurred past Branford 40-22 on October 15 in Florida football action.

The two squads shadow-boxed through an evenly-played 8-8 final quarter.

The Red Flashes’ determination showed as they carried a 32-14 lead into the fourth quarter.

Both offenses were muted in an unproductive second quarter, resulting in a 20-6 halftime score.

The first quarter gave Hilliard a 20-6 lead over Branford.
