The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will start resurfacing US Highway 301 (State Road 200) from State Road 20 to State Road 26 on Tuesday, April 22.
According to an FDOT District 2 press release, the project will include base work, drainage improvements, curbs, gutters, milling and resurfacing, highway signing, bridge pier strengthening and other incidental construction.
The work will typically occur at night, Monday through Friday, and no lane closures on SR 200 will be allowed from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. throughout the duration of the project.
Anderson Columbia Co., Inc. was awarded the $12.5 million project, which is estimated for completion in spring 2026, weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting.
