A 44-year-old Morriston man died Monday morning when his motorcycle collided with a deer south of Archer.

According to a Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) release, the man driving a 2022 Harley Davidson north on County Road 241 near SW 183rd Avenue at 5:08 a.m. when he collided with a deer, causing the man to be ejected onto the east grass shoulder.

Emergency responders transported the man to UF Shands Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
