Update (Wednesday, 2:47 p.m.) The Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) reported that Keira Heitfield has been located and is safe.

The 16-year-old Old Town girl was reported missing Wednesday morning and a Florida Missing Child Alert was issued.

Authorities issued a Missing Child Alert on Wednesday morning for 16-year-old Keira Heitfield of Old Town.

Heitfield was last seen near the 13500 block of NE Highway 349 in Old Town on Tuesday, Dec. 17.

Heitfield is a white female with brown hair and green eyes. She is 5-foot-5 and weighs approximately 130 pounds.
