Live Oak man dies when pickup overturns, collides with fence

A 55-year-old Live Oak man died when he failed to negotiate a turn on 201st Street and State Road 51 and his pickup overturned multiple times before colliding with a fence on Friday.

According to a Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) release, the man was driving a 2007 GMC Sierra north on SR 51 at 3:44 p.m. when he failed to negotiate a left turn onto 201st Street. The vehicle continued north when it overturned multiple times and collided with a fence.

According to the FHP release, the man was not wearing a seatbelt.
