On Wednesday, Gov. Ron DeSantis appointed Jonathan Ramsey to serve as a judge on the Alachua County Court.

Ramsey, of Gainesville, will fill the judicial vacancy created when Judge Walter Green recently retired.

Since 2018, Ramsey has worked as an associate at Fine, Farkash & Parlapiano, P.A. in Gainesville. He previously served as an assistant state attorney in the Eighth Judicial Circuit. Ramsey earned his master’s degree and juris doctor from UF.

Of course he doesn’t know. Knee jerk reaction and narrative from typical Gainesville citizen. The same group that gives the city decade plus dysfunctional city government
