The cause of the fire is under investigation and ACFR reported that the origin of the blaze may have come from a vacuum cleaner in the laundry room.

ACFR added that recent recalls for fire hazards include the Bissell brand, which had a recent recall due to models overheating, and Hoover, which had recalls due to electrical failures. ACFR officials advised to always check for product recalls and check appliances regularly while also keeping them away from flammable materials.
