The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has opened a disaster recovery center in Dixie County for survivors affected by Hurricane Debby.

The center will be open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Sunday at the Dixie County Public Library (16328 SE US 19) in Cross City and is accessible to people with disabilities. No appointments are required.

Homeowners and renters in Dixie, Gilchrist, Levy, Suwannee and Columbia counties can visit the Dixie County center or those in Sarasota or Taylor counties. To find other center locations for Hurricane Debby go to fema.gov/drc or text “DRC” and a Zip Code to 43362 and meet with representatives of FEMA, the U.S. Small Business Administration and the State of Florida.
