A 49-year-old Bronson man died Tuesday morning when his pickup traveled off County Road 102 (NE 60th Street) and collided with a tree.
According to a Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) release, the man was traveling west on CR 102 (NE 60th Street) west of NE 97th Court at 8:15 a.m. when, for unknown reasons, he traveled over the center line and onto the left shoulder of the road, where the pickup collided with a large tree.
Emergency responders declared the man dead on scene. He was reportedly not wearing a seatbelt.
