An ATV crash sent a 12-year-old Brooker boy to the hospital with a severe head injury on Monday evening.
According to a Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) report, the Brooker boy was traveling north on SW 147th Avenue south of County Road 18 east of Brooker around 7:45 p.m. with a 10-year-old Booker boy riding when he fell off the ATV.
Emergency responders transported the critically-injured 12-year-old boy to UF Shands Hospital in Gainesville. The 10-year-old male passenger was not injured.
FHP is investigating the incident.
