On Monday, Gov. Ron DeSantis appointed Adam Lee to serve as a judge on the Alachua County Court.

Lee, of Gainesville, is a managing member at Adam Lee Law PLLC. He has worked at the firm since 2016.

The Gainesville attorney earned his bachelor’s degree and juris doctorate from the University of Florida.

Lee fills the judicial vacancy created by the retirement of Judge Thomas Jaworski, who stepped down from the Alachua County Court on April 30, 2024.

It marked the second new judge appointed to the Alachua County Court by DeSantis in 2024. On April 17, Jonathan Ramsey, of Gainesville, was appointed to fill the judicial vacancy when Judge Walter Green retired.
