
The University of Florida Performing Arts (UFPA) will be hosting their 2023-24 Season Preview, offering an overview of over 40 upcoming performances.
The free event will be held at the Curtis M. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 11.
Director Brian Jose will introduce each of the artists through a presentation and will give his insights about each performance.
“Another dynamic, exciting, and entertaining season is coming your way! Hit Broadway titles, world music stars, and the top names in comedy, jazz, bluegrass, modern dance, and classical music are coming to the Phillips Center. In the 23/24 season, there is a performance to thrill everyone,” Jose stated in a press release.
The season includes offerings for the entire family, a date night, or a fun night out. Some of this season’s performances include Bored Teachers, Joshua Bell, Pat Metheny Dream Box Tour, and the spectacular Wynton Marsalis. For the full season lineup, visit https://performingarts.ufl.edu/events/.
Tickets for the 2023-24 season will go on sale to the public at noon on Saturday, Aug. 26 and can be purchased online at https://performingarts.ufl.edu/tickets/ or through the Phillips Center Box Office by calling 352-392-2787 (ARTS). Box Office hours are Monday through Friday from 12-6 p.m. UF students receive a discount on all performances.
