On Saturday, April 26, Solar Impact, Inc. and Swamp Head Brewery will host the 11th Annual Tree Fest.

The event will run from noon to 11 p.m. at the Swamp Head Brewery, located at 3650 SW 42nd Ave. in Gainesville.

This annual event, held around Earth Day and Arbor Day, celebrates the environment by raising money to plant trees with the Alachua Conservation Trust.

Mainstreet does not have a paywall, but pavement-pounding journalism is not free. Join your neighbors who make this vital work possible.

Tree Fest offers a full day of activities, including food trucks, live music and family-friendly fun until 5 p.m. For every beer purchased during Tree Fest, four trees will be planted.

Additionally, 20 trees will be planted for every Tree Fest T-shirt sold, and all sponsor donations will further increase tree planting efforts.

The trees, one-year-old longleaf pines, will be planted by the Alachua Conservation Trust at a local preserve in Hawthorne.

Attendance is free and open to the public. For more information about Tree Fest 2025 or to explore sponsorship opportunities, visit www.treefestfl.com or email info@treefestfl.com.
