“We are thrilled to host this year’s conference at the Santa Fe College Blount Center,” said Shandra Nichols, conference co-chair and Library Partnership Resource Center manager for Partnership for Strong Families, in a press release. “Representatives from the college have been integral to the planning and implementation of the conference since day one.

“Through collaboration with various local organizations, both attendance and the conference’s overall impact have grown tremendously over the past two years. We’re hopeful that this year’s event will be just as successful.”

The Alachua County Library District (ACLD) and Partnership for Strong Families, in collaboration with other community partner organizations, are hosting the two-day event.

The conference will feature breakout sessions covering employment, education and housing, as well as personal wellbeing. There will be two panel discussions highlighting employment success stories along with other voices of those with lived experience.
