Burritos are one of those great, versatile foods that work for both dinner and a sack lunch for work.
Today, I’m going to show you how to make hot, cheesy, crisp-tasting homemade burritos for all occasions. But the key to a great homemade burrito is that it’s homemade. So feel free to experiment and make this recipe your own.
Here’s what you’ll need to make these:
– 2 lbs ground beef (cooked in a crumbled style)
– 2 cans of refried beans (hint, heat each can emptied into a microwave dish in microwave, covered for about 4 minutes before adding to cooked ground beef mixture)
– 2 cans Ro-Tel tomatoes
– 1 tbsp garlic powder
– 1 tbsp sea salt
– 1/2 cup chopped onions (or dried onions)
– 1 tsp paprika
– 2 tbsp taco seasoning
– 16 (at least) burrito-size tortilla wraps
– Butter
– Shredded cheese
Depending on your taste, you may also want to have ingredients like salsa and sour cream handy.
