The Matheson History Museum will host a talk with Ann Weimer Moxley on her book, “Just Call me Rae,” which is the story of Rae O. Weimer, the Founder of the University College of Journalism and Communications.

The talk will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 24 at the Matheson (513 E. University Ave.)

The evening will include a slide show presentation and book signing. Weimer founded UF’s first school of journalism in 1949 and, within one year of his arrival in Gainesville, the school received accreditation.
