As part of National Pet Adoption Week, the free event will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 4205 NW 6th St. and will allow attendees the opportunity to meet a variety of adoptable cats and dogs in search of their forever homes.
All adoptable animals are sterilized, microchipped and given up-to-date vaccines. Those interested in seeing available pets ahead of time can visit www.humanesocietyncfl.org/adopt.
