The Hippodrome Theatre Art Gallery will be hosting the exhibition of local artist Naheed Mojadidi.  

The exhibit will be open starting Friday, Oct. 27 and run until the end of November. There will be an art walk held on the opening day from 7 to 10 p.m. located at The Hippodrome (25 SE 2nd Place) in Gainesville.  

Mojadid is a Gainesville-based artist who is a Florida native and has curated exhibitions in Gainesville.  

“Naheed Mojadidi’s art is deeply rooted in the exploration of history’s influence on our surroundings. Through her work, she seeks to challenge established perspectives, question hidden narratives, and provoke contemplation on the nature of memory and its role in shaping our world,” described The Hippodrome in a press release.  

Gallery Hours: 

• Thursday-Friday, 6 to 9 p.m. 

• Saturday: 3 to 9 p.m. 
• Sunday: 3 to 5 p.m.
