
The Downtown High Springs Art Walk event returns to historic downtown High Springs this fall on Saturday.
The art walk will be from noon to 5 p.m. in downtown High Springs.
Local artists and makers will showcase their goods on the sidewalks of downtown. Participating merchants will offer specials and sales during the event.
There will be several demonstrations as well. Pat Valcante, a local muralist will be painting live and Lynda Cross, a local potter, will be showing clay technique demonstrations.
Lanza Gallery & Art Supplies will have local potter, Debra Ridgdill with Potz Pottery showcasing her newest creations. Inside the gallery, there will be works by renowned Gainesville artist Alfred Phillips on their Guest Artist wall.
Unique Notions will be celebrating its five-year anniversary by doing a $100 gift certificate giveaway. Patrons can enter their name to win a $100 Gift Certificate with a purchase of $15 or more.
