Goodwill Industries of North Florida is celebrating National Clean Out Your Closet Week from March 16–22 and will hold two donation events during the week.
As part of the celebration, Goodwill is hosting two donation drive events in Alachua County, where donors will have a chance to win a $100 Goodwill gift card. The donations help fund job training and employment programs while promoting sustainability.
The donation drives are scheduled for:
UF softball vs. Texas – Sunday, March 16
- Gates open at noon (drop off donations at the gate)
- First pitch: 1 p.m.
UF baseball vs. Georgia – Saturday, March 22
- Gates open at 11 a.m. (drop off donations at any gate)
- First pitch: noon
Goodwill encourages people to designate space for items, sort clothing by season, and track what’s worn. Household items can be categorized with labeled storage bins, and children can take part in choosing what to donate.
