The city of Gainesville will host its annual New Year’s Eve celebration at Depot Park and Bo Diddley Plaza. Events run from 5 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., ranging from fireworks to a live music celebration.

The festivities are to begin at 5 p.m. on Sunday with “Sparks in the Park,” a family-friendly dance party on the lawn of Depot Park.

Attendees can bring chairs or blankets to watch the sun go down on 2023, then view a musically choreographed fireworks show over the main pond.

Good times away.

Will there be food vendors and such?

C.J. Gish

There was nothing in the information sent to us mentioning food vendors.
