Florida Victorious is teaming up with UF fans to Chomp Out Hunger by selling boxes of vegetables as a fundraiser to benefit The Bread of the Mighty Food Bank and UF student-athletes.
Starting Tuesday, Florida Victorious, an NIL partner of the Florida Gators, is partnering with Front Door Produce to provide Florida-themed limited-edition boxes of fresh vegetables for purchase through Aug. 12. The boxes can be either purchased for individual use or donated to benefit the Bread of the Mighty Food Bank. A portion of the proceeds will go to Florida Victorious.
“We are thrilled to offer this opportunity to our fans to support our UF student-athletes, the Bread of the Mighty Food Bank, while also enjoying some fresh summer vegetables,” said Nate Barbera, Chief Executive Officer of Florida Victorious, in a press release.
Boxes may be purchased by clicking on this link and can be picked up between 2 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 15, at 3218 SW 49th Terrace behind Regal Cinemas and in front of the parking garage in Celebration Pointe via distribution trucks. From 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., 85 Florida Gators football players will be on hand to distribute the boxes.
Celebration Pointe management gets a cut, a fee, a management fee, a rent, a CDD fee, a master association fee, an administration fee, or some kind of vig on everything that happens at Celebration Pointe.
I just wonder how much of each $30 veggie box goes into the pocket of bankrupt Celebration Pointe? In the name of full transparency.
