The U.S. Air Force Academy Band’s “Falconaires” will perform a free concert at Bo Diddley Plaza on Sunday.

The concert starts at 4 p.m. at 111 E. University Ave. in Gainesville.

The Falconaires, a jazz ensemble, is a 20-piece big band comprised of active-duty airmen musicians who tour the United States and perform a mix of cutting-edge jazz and classical music. Listeners will enjoy familiar tunes from jazz luminaries such as Stan Kenton, Glenn Miller and Count Basie, along with new music written especially for the ensemble.
