Mainstreet does not have a paywall, but pavement-pounding journalism is not free. Join your neighbors who make this vital work possible.

Designed for girls (ages 11-18), college-aged women (19-24), and their parents and guardians, the seminar will include workshops on identifying red flags, shared stories, breakout sessions, community resources, refreshments and door prizes.

Taking place during Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month, the event aims to equip young people and families with the knowledge and resources to recognize and prevent dating and domestic violence.

Peaceful Paths, a dedicated organization supporting survivors, offers essential services such as emergency shelter, crisis counseling, legal advocacy, and community education to prevent violence before it begins.

This event is held in collaboration with The Children’s Trust of Alachua County, the Finer Foundation of Florida and Dream on Purpose.
