The American Dairy Queen Corporation (ADQ) announced it will host Miracle Treat Day on Thursday, July 25, to help raise funds for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

In an ADQ release, the fast-food franchise with more than 4,000 restaurants nationwide, will donate $1 or more to local children’s hospitals through the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals when patrons purchase their favorite Blizzard® Treat at participating Dairy Queens.   

 “By joining us on Miracle Treat Day, the Alachua community can help offer support and hope to children by simply purchasing a Blizzard Treat,” said Toks Achebe, with the Hesperia Dairy Queen, in the release. “We appreciate our community and partnership, and are honored to help make a visit to our DQ location extra special in support of a meaningful cause.”

Participating Dairy Queens in Alachua County will include two in Gainesville at 9700 NW 39th Ave. and 3960 SW Archer Rd., one in Alachua at 15993 NW 163rd Lane and one in Newberry at 24252 W. Newberry Rd.

Dairy Queen has raised more than $180 million over the past 40 years for local children’s hospitals through Children’s Miracle Networks Hospitals.
