The Chief Theatre will launch its 2022-2023 season with a classic: “Agatha Christie’s Murder on the Orient Express” from Sept. 23 to Oct. 9.
The audience will watch detective Hercule Poirot exercise his “little grey cells” to solve a murder on a train filled with suspects.
First published in 1934, the Chief Theatre will be the latest institution to bring the story to life. In 2017, Hollywood sent the story to the big screen, garnering more than $351 million worldwide.
Evi Wright will direct the production through special arrangement with Concord Theatricals, who first produced the play in 2017.
Tickets cost $15 with showtimes on Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2:30 p.m. You can purchase tickets online.
Discounted tickets are also available for seniors, students and military.
