A benefit rally for storm-ravaged Cedar Key is slated for Bo Diddley Plaza on Saturday.
Cedar Key, which was hit by Hurricane Idalia on Aug. 30, had damage estimated in the millions to businesses and homes.
The fundraiser event will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Gainesville and will feature live music by T.J. Brown, Seth Dukes, Reggie Stacy, Kerry Gordon, Goose Goodrich and more.
There will be a silent auction of items donated by Gainesville businesses along with a 50/50 raffle. Auction items will be updated on the fundraiser event’s Facebook page.
All proceeds of the event will go to rebuilding the businesses of Cedar Key.
