This full-length adaptation of Anaïs Mitchell’s haunting, jazz-inflected folk opera follows Orpheus’ mythical journey to rescue Eurydice from Hades, set in a post-apocalyptic, industrialized underworld. The production explores themes of love, faith and the battle between industry and nature.
Tickets are available at buchholzdrama.com for $15 online or $17 at the door for general admission. Student tickets are $12 online and $15 at the door, while group tickets are $10 online. Buchholz High School faculty can attend for free.
