
The Alachua County Equal Opportunity Office, the city of Gainesville and other community partners will be celebrating Fair Housing Month with the “Breaking Down Barriers” housing resources fair on Saturday, April 26.
The fair will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Martin Luther King Jr. Multipurpose Center (1025 NE 14th St) in Gainesville. Light refreshments will be provided.
From affordable housing options to financial assistance programs, participants will discover various resources and information to help them in their housing search.
“Don’t miss out on this opportunity to connect with experts and organizations that can help you navigate the housing market,” said Alachua County Equal Opportunity Manager Jacqueline Chung in a press release. “We will have a panel discussion and break-out sessions so participants can talk with housing resource experts about their personal needs and assistance.”
