Bread of the Mighty Food Bank (BOTM) will host a food distribution event at Shell Elementary School in Hawthorne on Thursday.

The event will start at 9:30 a.m. at 21633 65th Ave.

BOTM, a branch of Feeding Northeast Florida, will provide fresh produce and nutritious foods to serve up to 300 households. The event is in partnership with Hawthorne Area Resource Center, Partnership for Strong Families and other local organizations.

The food will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis as supplies last.
