The annual Cane Boil and Fiddle Fest will move its event to Saturday, Nov. 23, the weekend before Thanksgiving.

The event, which is traditionally held the weekend after Thanksgiving, will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Morningside Nature Center (3540 E. University Ave.) in Gainesville.

Visitors can partake of demonstrations of historic skills, live music, shop vendor’s wares, and join in traditional games and crafts. There will also be tours of the log cabin and historic interpreters as they go about a day in the life of 1870.
