
The Nov. 23rd City of Newberry Commission meeting at 7 p.m. will tackle a full agenda that includes a discussion on tiny homes, a public hearing on water and wastewater systems and the nomination of Dudley Farm for National Landmark status.
The meeting is a hybrid public meeting, as permitted by Newberry Resolution 2020 – 48. Per Resolution 2020 – 48, Communications Media Technology (CMT) will continue to be available for the conduct of public meetings. The public may attend virtually through the City’s YouTube, Facebook, the Zoom Link below, by calling the phone numbers below (for audio only), Meeting ID: 889 6447 9628, or in person.
The public may submit comments to the board through email (info@ci.newberry.fl.us) or by calling into the public comment message line prior to the meeting.
Public comment will be taken by telephone for all non-ministerial items on which the Commission votes. Once public comment is opened for an item under discussion, please use the raise my hand or Q&A feature in Zoom. If you are joining by phone press *9 to raise your hand. The meeting moderator will acknowledge your request and you will be unmuted to make your comment. Callers should state their name and limit comments to two minutes. In addition, the Commission will open phone lines for public comment session for the public to discuss items not on the Commission agenda during the Public Announcement and Public Comment period.
