The showdown is set in Class 1A.
This Friday night in Bronson, Williston, which is ranked second in the state in Class 1A by MaxPreps, will play No. 1 ranked Wildwood for the Class 1A-District 7 title.
On Tuesday night, the No. 2 seed Red Devils (20-7) cruised to a 79-48 win against host Bronson.
The No. 6 seed Eagles upset No. 3 seed Trenton, 54-47, on Monday to advance to last night’s semifinals.
Williston, which crushed No. 7 seed Cedar Key, 101-13, on Monday night in the quarterfinals, defeated Wildwood, 67-56, on Nov. 26 at the Mighty Ike Challenge at Williston.
Meanwhile, the top-ranked Wildcats (19-6) advanced with a 72-57 win against No. 4 Chiefland in the other semifinal.
P.K. Yonge will also play for a district title.
The top-seeded Blue Wave (13-10) had no problem with defending 1A state champion Bradford (Starke), building a 32-6 halftime lead and cruising to a 67-15 win in a Class 3A-District 2 semifinal.
No. 2 seed Interlachen advanced with a 78-62 win against No. 3 seed Trinity Catholic (Ocala).
Tip off between the Blue Wave and the Rams (19-7) will be at 6 p.m. on Friday.
