On Friday, Gov. Ron DeSantis appointed Dr. Tara Ezzell to the Santa Fe College District Board of Trustees.
Ezzell is currently a partner and dermatologist at Dermatology Associates in Gainesville.
She serves as the assistant secretary of the Parker Road Community Development District Board of Directors and is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the Florida Medical Association, and the American Medical Association.
Ezzell earned her bachelor’s degree from Emory University and her Doctor of Medicine degree from UF.
The appointment is subject to confirmation from the Florida Senate.
