Santa Fe College will celebrate first-generation students with an event on Wednesday.
Courtesy of SF CollegeSanta Fe College will host Next Gen Day, a celebration for first-generation students on Wednesday.
The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 8 in Building R, Room 001 on SF’s Northwest Campus (3000 NW 83 Street).
First Gen Day at SF will celebrate students and faculty and staff who were first-generation graduates.
SF President Paul Broadie will kick off the event with a welcome speech. Following the speech, there will be presentations and resources available.
Pizza, prizes and T-shirts will be provided to first-generation students and staff on a first-come, first-serve basis.
