LCSO Finance Director fired after credit card statement irregularities found

The Levy County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) fired its finance director on Monday after finding irregularities in credit card statements and with other agency funds.

According to an LCSO release sent Tuesday, Christina “Nicole” Gore was terminated from her position.

Gore had been employed in the LCSO Finance Division since 2015 and was promoted to finance director on Dec. 30, 2019.

The Gainesville Regional Office of the Florida Department of Law Enforcement has started a criminal investigation into the matter at the request of Levy County Sheriff Bobby McCallum.
