One person was killed and a second injured in a shooting on Tuesday night at NE Sam Court in Lake City.
According to a press release, Lake City Police Department (LCPD) officers were dispatched at 6:35 p.m. to a report of one person with gunshot wounds but found two victims upon arrival.
First responders pronounced one victim dead at the scene and the second victim was transported to a local hospital.
The name of the deceased victim is being withheld until the next of kin are notified.
