A Hamilton County man wanted in connection with a shooting was arrested Wednesday in Lake City.
According to a Lake City Police Department (LCPD) release, officers apprehended William Michael Walker, 21, after an investigation revealed his location.
The LCPD Patrol and Criminal Investigation Division officers safely took Walker into custody. Walker had a Hamilton County warrant on charges of aggravated battery, firing missiles into a dwelling and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He also had a warrant out of Columbia County for possession of cocaine and violation of probation.
Walker was taken to the Columbia County Detention Center.
