
Three Rivers Legal Services, a non-profit organization committed to providing free civil legal assistance to low-income individuals, will be celebrating its 45th anniversary.
The event will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 12 at the Best Western Gateway Grand (4200 NW 97th Blvd. In Gainesville).
“We are immensely proud to celebrate 45 years of serving our community and making a difference in the lives of those who need it most,” said Donna MacRae, Interim Executive Director at Three Rivers Legal Services in a press release. “This event not only celebrates our achievements but also honors the individuals and organizations that have played a vital role in advancing our cause. We look forward to continued growth and impact in the years to come.”
The anniversary event will honor the journey of Three Rivers Legal Services by highlighting the achievements and positive impact the organization has made in the community since 1978. The event will also recognize the contributions of volunteers and legal professionals who have offered their legal services through pro bono work.
The keynote speaker at the event is Merrit McAlister, the interim dean at the University of Florida College of Levin Law.
