Studio T/M Pottery and Clay ceramic workshop will be reopening after moving to a larger facility.
The grand opening will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 9 at the new location at 1854 NE 2nd St., Suite A, in Gainesville.
There will be live demos, food trucks, a DJ and giveaways at the grand opening party.
The new facility is 5,000 square feet compared to the original 1,110-square-foot space. Now, Studio T/M will be able to offer more classes and workshops for participants of all skill levels.
“Our goal has always been to make Gainesville a hub for clay artists across the U.S,” said Sara Truman, co-founder and co-owner of Studio T/M said in a press release. “With our larger space, we can provide an even broader range of classes, from introductory to advanced, welcoming artists and hobbyists of all skill levels.”
New courses will be available this fall and include: Introduction to Wheel Throwing, Sip n’ Spin evening events with BYOB available for age 21+ guests, and family friendly events like “Tweens on Wheels” and “Family Stay n’ Clay.” Adult classes are strictly 18 and older.
