The Le Macaron store has moved to a larger location in Celebration Pointe and will be hosting a grand reopening on Thursday, July 6.
The event will be held from 4-7 p.m. The store will be offering 15% off and customers can spin a wheel at the register for prizes ranging from a free macaron to an accessory item.
“I want to be able to reward my customers and say thank you too,” Le Macaron owner Pete Amato said in a phone call “Because of you guys, I can support Celebration Pointe. My customers are really good to me, and I just want to give back because it all translates to what we all want is a family-oriented community, and to be able to come here and have an experience you can’t get anywhere else.”
Le Macaron of Gainesville first opened in March of 2021. The store offers a variety of pastries like croissants that are freshly baked in store, napoleons, tiramisus, chocolates, gelato, and of course, around 21 different flavors of regular and gluten-free French macarons.
Amato also has a passion for coffee and offers several specialty espresso drinks, teas and matcha.
Since their opening, the European-inspired café’s owner, Amato, has been dedicated to bringing the community together. Working closely with Celebration Pointe, Amato moved the store not only for a larger, more efficient space but also to be closer to the common area in Celebration Pointe where many members of the community gather to relax.
One of Amato’s offerings is a monthly wine tasting. The date always corresponds with Celebration Pointe’s Jazz on The Green, which is on the second Saturday of every month from 7-9 p.m.
“I always tell the customers whenever you hear about the Jazz on The Green to come to set up your flight to Europe wine pairing with one macaron…we’ll do a trip to Italy, or we’ll do a trip to France. We do these and it just really attracts people,” Amato said.
The new location will still be in Celebration Pointe at 4949 Celebration Pointe Ave. To stay up to date with Le Macaron Gainesville, follow the Facebook page.
