
Gainesville Black Professionals will host the inaugural Black Business Expo at Santa Fe College on Saturday, July 20.
The expo is an opportunity to highlight products and services, network and support Black-owned businesses. More than 50 exhibitors will be attending.
The event will take place from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Santa Fe College Gymnasium, 3000 NW 83rd St. The day will start with an Entrepreneurship Panel Discussion at 10 a.m., with tickets available online, before moving into the expo portion which is free and open to anyone.
The panel will include Joe Cirulli, owner of Gainesville Health and Fitness Centers; Theresa Glaeser, owner of logokick.com; Laurence Andrews, coordinator for Santa Fe’s entrepreneurship incubator; Caleena Shirley, regional director for the Black Business Investment Fund; John Sanchez, senior vice president and Capital City Bank; and Zeriah Folston, equal opportunity director for the city of Gainesville.
