Oregon-based drive-thru coffee chain Dutch Bros Coffee is accepting applications for part-time “Broistas” before opening its first Gainesville location in March.
The new storefront at 3315 SW Williston Rd. with the Dutch Bros Coffee windmill logo sits on a 1.6-acre lot next to Gallo Car Wash north of the VA Medical Center Outpatient Clinic.
“We’re hiring in Gainesville, FL and we’re looking for part-time Broistas to join the party!” Dutch Bros Coffee posted on Facebook last week. “Do you love people, giving back to your community and want potential for growth? You could earn up to $16 an hour (including average tips), money toward school and free swag!”
Dutch Bros Coffee menu offers traditional lattes and cold brews, as well as Dutch Faves like the Golden Eagle, 9-1-1 and Annihilator espresso drinks, and innovative seasonal drinks with cereal marshmallow charms. Customers can order other beverages such as iced tea, sparkling soda, smoothies and shakes, and furry friends can enjoy “pup cup” treats.
Committed to “making a massive difference, one cup at a time,” brothers Dane and Travis Boersma started the coffee business from a pushcart in 1992. Since franchising in 2000, Dutch Bros Coffee has grown to 987 locations across the U.S.
The Williston Road project started with a development application filed with the city of Gainesville in January 2024 before Galloway & Company, Inc. finalized blueprints in March 2024 to break ground on construction for the $2,380,100 building.
According to LoopNet.com, the triple net leased investment owned by RMC Property Group gives Dutch Bros a 15-year initial ground lease without landlord responsibility for operating and capital expenses.
