
Capital City Bank held a ribbon-cutting ceremony Tuesday to commemorate the opening of its new banking office located off Archer Road.
This is the bank’s fourth location in Gainesville and seventh in Alachua County. The new office is located at 4103 SW 43rd St. west of the Interstate 75 Archer Exit.
According to a Capital City Bank press release, the new office has features such as virtual tellers, which is live assistance from a banker via video chat and Smart ATMs that accept cash and checks. The ATMs are able to take up to 30 items in a transaction with checks posted the same day as posted.
“Our team has grown to include nearly 50 knowledgeable bankers and lenders who are committed to expertly meeting an array of financial needs, from personal to business and commercial. I am proud of our dedicated Gainesville bankers who always prioritize serving and caring for our valued clients,” said Rob Deese, President of the Gainesville market, in a press release.
The bank’s hours will be 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday.
