The Cade Museum for Creativity and Invention has selected Bradley Gamble as the new chief executive officer after a national search that started last February.

A UF graduate, Gamble co-founded the Selling Factory in 2016, employing thousands of students and helping over 150 businesses. Through the work, the company earned nearly $5 million in revenue.

He also worked in Gainesville as vice president of sales and marketing at Infinite Energy.

“The Cade’s mission is deeply inspiring to me,” said Gamble in a press release. “Supporting the Inventivity movement for inventors, entrepreneurs, and creators of all ages sparks my passion.

Gamble will begin with the museum on April 15.

Phoebe Miles, co-founder of the Cade Museum, has served as interim CEO for the past year. She said the museum leadership is confident that Bradley will bring a fresh perspective and strong leadership.

“We believe that Brad’s extensive background in sales and marketing is exactly what the Cade needs to flourish in its next chapter as a national organization,” Miles said in a release.

Stephanie Bailes served as CEO before resigning in 2023 to pursue other opportunities. She held the position for six years, guiding the museum from ongoing construction to opening and through the COVID-19 pandemic.

Bailes stayed on at the museum in a senior advisor role following her resignation as CEO.
