The Blue Agave Mexican restaurant will close its doors on Wednesday after 11 years in Gainesville.
According to a statement made on the restaurant’s Facebook page on Sunday, Oct. 20, Blue Agave was unable to renew its lease, leading to the closure. The restaurant plans to relocate to a different location.
Blue Agave posted the following message to its customers:
“Dear Valued Customers,
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the closing of Blue Agave after 11 wonderful years of serving our community. Unfortunately, our lease has expired, and we are unable to renew it.
We are incredibly grateful for your loyalty, support, and the countless memories we’ve shared together. It has been an honor to be a part of your lives.
While this chapter is coming to an end (Wed. Oct 23, 2024) we are proud of what we have built and the connections we’ve made. We will take this time to take a break and plan on reopening in a better location. Thank you for being part of our journey. We hope to see you again in the future.
With gratitude,
Blue Agave”
Not sorry to see this one close… The food was overly priced, service was poor… felt like they stopped trying a year or more ago and focused on Los Pollos instead. Hope something better comes in.
