The Gainesville Police Department (GPD) is asking for the public’s help with an investigation into a shooting that occurred at Dee’s Liquor on July 12.

According to a GPD release, the shooting happened around 11:50 p.m. at the store located at 1030 SE 4th Ave.

GPD believes the suspects were in a black Cadillac SRX and shot multiple times into a crowd of people outside Dee’s Liquor.

The vehicle was parked in the city of Gainesville from July 9-12 before the shooting, according to GPD investigators.
