Gainesville shooting near Rose Food Store injures four

Four people were injured in a shooting near Rose Food Store on 16th Avenue in Gainesville on Saturday night.

According to a Gainesville Police Department (GPD) report, officers responded around 9 p.m. to reports of shots fired. When officers arrived, they found four people injured. Some of the victims were transported to UF Health Shands Hospital.

The shooting took place over three different crime scenes in Gainesville and investigators are still trying to locate the suspect.
