A suspect allegedly involved with a shooting at Cedar Park Apartments last week turned himself into the Lake City Police Department (LCPD) on Monday.
According to an LCPD release, Jaquary Delroy Pratt, 22, of Live Oak, surrendered to police without incident after a warrant had been issued for his arrest.
LCPD officers were dispatched to the apartment complex at 4:25 p.m. on Friday to the report of a person shot.
When they arrived, the victim told officers that there was an arranged firearm sale to Pratt. Pratt arrived with two other black males, one of whom drew a firearm and pointed it at the victim’s temple. The victim said he pushed the firearm away and the gun discharged, shooting the victim in the lower extremity.
Emergency responders transported the victim, who was listed as stable, to the hospital.
Pratt is being held in the Columbia County Detention Center without bond on charges of grand theft of a firearm, robbery with a firearm and aggravated battery.
