
Today’s senior spotlight is on 4-sport athlete Aubrey Brown of Bell High School.
Brown played basketball, volleyball, softball, and ran cross country. She played in all 26 basketball games this past year and scored a season-high 12 points against Union County in December.
Brown had 67 digs for the volleyball team, which finished 27-2. She was also part of the state runner-up volleyball team as a junior.
On the diamond, Bell hit .394 with 8 doubles, 1 home run, and 25 runs driven in for the Lady Bulldogs, who finished with a 20-win season and a spot in the state playoffs.
This year, she was off to a great start to her senior campaign, batting .439 with a team-leading 18 hits in 12 games played. She was also leading the team with 13 runs driven in and five doubles, and she was tied for the team lead with two homeruns.
Her favorite high school sports moment was Senior Night last year when the ‘Dogs were down by 2 and she hit one over the fence. She had a total of 6 RBI in that game alone. Aubrey has received a Softball Scholarship to play at Webber International University in the fall. She will be working towards getting her BSN.
